Dr. Amy Comander, MD

Dr. Amy Comander is Director of Breast Oncology and Cancer Survivorship at the Mass General Center in Waltham and at Newton-Wellesley. She is also co-director of the Mass General Cancer Center in Waltham. Dr. Comander is well-known for her compassionate care and devotion to her patients.   She is dedicated to improving the quality of life and outcome of her patients through lifestyle interventions. In addition to her expertise in hematology/oncology, Dr. Comander has also pursued board certification in Lifestyle Medicine, and she has launched “PAVING the Path to Wellness Program,” a 12 week lifestyle medicine based survivorship program for women with breast cancer. She is an avid runner, and she is thrilled to run her eight consecutive Boston Marathon this year to support individuals diagnosed with breast cancer.

Dr. Sandra Naaman

Dr. Sandra Naaman, MD, Ph.D., CCD, NCMP

Dr Naaman’s is a board certified internist with expertise in women’s health and cancer survivorship. Prior to joining an Endocrinology fellowship, she directed a breast cancer survivorship clinic which addressed all aspects of late and long term effects of cancer treatments including cardiometabolic health, bone disease, and menopause.  Dr Naaman developed a CME-accredited Women’s Health
curriculum,  based out of the University of Chicago, which provides training and support to community physicians using a risk-based approach to breast, bone, heart and gynecological health for high risk populations. By educating community primary care providers to deliver
state of the art care, the curriculum reduces barriers to care access. Dr. Naaman is an avid traveler and aficionado of French impressionist art.

Dr. Jandie Posner, DO

Dr. Jandie Posner is a Breast Surgical Oncologist in Philadelphia, PA and the Director of Resident Curriculum at Crozer Health. She is fellowship trained in breast surgical oncology and is a board-certified surgeon. Dr. Posner completed her fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Magee-Womens Hospital. Prior to her fellowship training, she received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a residency in general surgery at Inspira Health Network in Vineland, New Jersey where she served as Chief Resident. She has a keen interest in community education and support. She is the founder and co-leader of the Breast Cancer Book Club.

 

Dr. Posner is a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology, American Society of Breast Surgeons, Association of Women Surgeons, International Society of Surgery, and Breast Surgery International. She is an avid reader and aspiring aerialist.
